Make the requirements easier to manage throughout the year

The Transparency Act aims to promote enterprises’ respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions. Enterprises covered by the Act must carry out due diligence regularly, publish an account of their due diligence no later than 30 June each year and be able to respond to requests for information.

From due diligence to the annual account

Due diligence and follow-up are documented continuously in Tild . When the annual account needs to be finalised, assessments, actions and results are already collected in the system. This reduces the work required ahead of the 30 June deadline and makes it easier to keep the documentation up to date. The account must also be updated if the enterprise’s risk assessments change significantly.

Have the documentation ready when someone asks

The Transparency Act gives any person the right to request information about how an enterprise addresses actual and potential adverse impacts on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions. Requests for information must normally be answered no later than three weeks after they are received.
