Efficient Logistics and Full Traceability - Right Down to the Pallet
direct FOOD provides powerful tools for goods reception, inventory management, and dispatch - areas where Jæder already benefits from the same technology.
At goods reception, raw materials and finished products can be processed efficiently, supporting GTIN, batch and lot numbers, expiry dates, label printing and barcode scanning.
The inventory module offers complete visibility into items and batches across various storage types, such as chilled, intermediate and finished goods storage.
Dispatch operations are managed through the WMS module and WMS app, which provides storage, inventory counting, transfers and picking functionality. Pick lists are automatically transferred from the ERP system.
direct FOOD also supports:
- Scanning and management of pallet and transport labels
- Automatic division and tracking of d-pak/f-pak
- Handling of weighted items during picking
- Batch-based product blocking based on maturation or shelf life
- EFTA number support for operations involving multiple processing sites
